With nearly 10 years of experience working on the buy side of the fixed-income market, Oren brings a wealth of experience, starting with his role as an analyst at J.P. Morgan in Brooklyn, NY. From there, Oren transitioned south to Lafayette, LA where he worked as the Assistant Treasurer for Midsouth Bank. Here, Oren was a key player in strategically managing a large portion of the bank’s assets through prudent portfolio management in the fixed-income portfolio as well as accurately modeling the institution’s sensitivity to changes in interest rates with respect to the bank’s leverage and asset-liability profile.

In 2017, Oren moved to Shreveport, LA accepting a portfolio management position with one of the region’s largest trust companies, Argent Trust Company. As a Portfolio Manager, Oren was responsible for handling the full spectrum of fixed-income portfolio management, from asset allocation and credit analysis to trading and conducting quarterly meetings with clients, which approximated to $1B in AUM. During his tenure at Argent, Oren was also featured alongside Moody’s Investor Service in a collaborative effort to publicly discuss the state of the fixed-income market.

Oren holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Master of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University-Commerce. He is also a CFA® Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Louisiana.
