Can Small RIAs Benefit From OCIOs Like the Big Firms Do?

Life in an independent RIA can be great, as far as the freedom from long international chains of command goes. However, one of the few drawbacks may be that your pockets are not as deep. Resources may not be as plentiful as they are on a massive corporate scale. 

This might tempt some independent advisors to envy big houses’ asset management resources, in particular. However, the good news is that you do not have to.
